Colin
Harris is an individual rich in cultural diversity. A native of
Georgetown, Guyana located in South America, Mr. Harris moved to New
York City in 1989. He served six years in the United States Air Force
where he was highly respected for his skills as radar technician at
Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach Florida. Mr. Harris now is a dedicated
member of Eglin’s Civil Service team where he continues to work on and
maintain ground radar and radio equipment. He currently holds three
college degrees; an Associate of Applied science in Electronic Systems
Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, an Associate of
Applied science in Industrial Management technology Form Okaloosa Walton
College and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Okaloosa Walton
College. Adamantly dedicated to his education he is currently enrolled
as a student at Excelsior College where he is pursuing a
Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
As an entrepreneur Mr.
Harris started his own business in January of 2002 which he named Global
Impact Empire Entertainment LLC. His business combines Mr. Harris’s
love for the arts with his developed technical skills and his business
mind. Global Impact Empire Entertainment (GIEE) serves as a gateway for
Mr. Harris to bring his talents in the entertainment industry to the
public. Since the company started it has completed such projects as
providing video production and photography for the Annual Universal
Martial Arts Hall of Fame competition and banquet, the release of Mr.
Harris’s debut Reggae album entitled “Defined Versatility”, the
first release of his magazine “Treasures of the Emerald Coast” which
seeks out and showcases local modeling talents, and the producing and
directing a short film entitled “Flawed Proposal.” In addition to these
projects the company continues to offer professional wedding photography
and videography for Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Mr. Harris is currently
focusing his company’s talents on the major project of professionally
producing and directing a feature length film entitled “Guardians
of Shuho.” Keeping with the company’s
dedication to showcase local talents of the Gulf Coast the film will be
staring a cast and crew from the local area. Upon completion of the
film the company plans to submit their final project to countless Film Festival
throughout the US and other part of the world. |
